TRX can be difficult to explain to someone who has never seen this type of workout before. I will try my best to explain it as easy as possible. The entire idea of this type of training is to work a person’s core and other muscles by using only their body weight. Hundreds of workouts can be performed with this type of equipment by adjusting the body’s position.
Often times, TRX straps are yellow and black. However, you can search the Internet and they are appearing in multiple colors now. The straps are attached to a ceiling or on a wall high above a person’s height. There are two handles, where one would hold or place their feet in during the exercise.
Originally, TRX was created for Navy SEALS training. It is an excellent resource to have when traveling or at home. No weights or anything else is used besides the person’s body weight. It offers an incredible workout to challenge every muscle including the core.
