I have always had a weak spot for cookies. This cookie dough recipe tastes amazing without cheating on your diet. I am not sure who to give credit to the original recipe since I have seen it on multiple fitness websites. Regardless, try it out. I promise you will not be disappointed!
Ingredients
1½ cups chickpeas (same as garbanzo beans)- thoroughly drained and rinsed
⅛ tsp salt
⅛ tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup almond butter
½ cup Xylitol
3 tbsp vanilla protein powder
2-3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk, add if needed for desired thickness
⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
Directions
Blend all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor or blender.
If you want the dip to be a little thinner, just add more almond milk. Add it in small increments because this can make the dip too runny. (I like mine a little thicker)
