Vegan Cookie Dough Protein Dip

Vegan - protein - cookie dough

I have always had a weak spot for cookies. This cookie dough recipe tastes amazing without cheating on your diet. I am not sure who to give credit to the original recipe since I have seen it on multiple fitness websites. Regardless, try it out. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups chickpeas (same as garbanzo beans)- thoroughly drained and rinsed
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup Xylitol
  • 3 tbsp vanilla protein powder
  • 2-3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk, add if needed for desired thickness
  • ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips

 
Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor or blender.
  2. If you want the dip to be a little thinner, just add more almond milk.  Add it in small increments because this can make the dip too runny.  (I like mine a little thicker)
  3. Once combined, stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Enjoy!
