Tuesday’s Workout: Legs & Abs – 08/13/2013

I skipped the gym today and decided to take my first barre class. It was a lot fun. However, I like the TRX Tabata classes a little more. Regardless, it is time to get back in the gym. Here is the 5 a.m. workout for tomorrow:

Legs

  1. Leg extensions: 5 x 20
  2. Barbell squat: 5 x 10
  3. Superset: Lunge walk 40ft down and back
  4. Superset: Leg press 15 reps (go heavy or go home!)
  5. Leg press: 5 x 10
  6. Leg curl: 5 x 10
  7. Seated calf raise: 5 x10

 
Abs

  1. Jackknife Sit-Up: 5 x 20
  2. Sit-up with stability ball under legs: 5 x20
  3. Leg lifts with stability ball b/t ankles: 5 x 20

 
Tomorrow, we start a HIIT session before the workout.  Let me know how you feel after!
