When I woke up this morning, I was excited that it was leg day. I had a few things to take care of before hitting the gym – two job interviews and my father in the hospital. Both job interviews seemed to have gone well. As for my father, he is still battling issues with his heart.
According to my mother, he is doing okay today. They are treating him, and he should be home in a few days. Thank goodness!
After everything was settled, I went to the gym just before 5 p.m. I was trying to beat the after-work-crowd. I sort of achieved this. Regardless, I had a good workout.
I saw this female who was a regular at the other location. I used to love watching her (in a totally non-creepy way) because she was so powerful. At the other location, she told me how she was about to compete in her first bikini competition.
When I saw her today, I asked how it all went. Since then, she competed three times and won twice – go her! This week, she is competing in her first figure competition. I asked if she was doing it on her own or working with a coach. She has an online coach who seems to have a good reputation and a decent website (digital marketer approved).
After the gym, I went home to have a shake and make dinner. For a long time, I never bought Vega products. Their products are quite expensive. However, it was on sale at Whole Foods, so I tried it out. My two favorite products are the Vega Sport Recovery Accelerator, Apple Berry and Vega Sport Performance Protein, Vanilla.
As for dinner, I made some tofu, rice and asparagus. It was a delicious vegan meal. Yum!
For tomorrow, I have another interview in the morning, and then I am off to the gym. The workout for tomorrow is back and biceps. It goes a little something like this:
