Getting Back on Track

Getting Back on Track

It has been about two weeks since I last updated. Since then, I have barely worked out or watched what I have been eating.  The meal plan that I was doing with Body & Life by Nicola came to halt as well.  I can only blame myself for this.

First, I will begin talking about the meal plan.  When I started the meal plan by Nicola, I had a hard time adjusting to some of the regime.  The meals included eating six times a day.  I found this difficult with my work schedule and socializing.

For an example, I have meetings most of the mornings on Wednesdays.  It is impossible for me to break from those meetings to keep up with the food.  She also requested me to post it on Instagram, so she could keep track of my food progress.  I did not keep up very well with all of this.

The meal plan balanced my macros each day.  Since I am vegetarian, I still consume eggs.  However, this plan did include many eggs that I was not able to eat.  In case you are wonder, I no longer want to consume eggs.  I guess you can say it pushed me a step closer to vegan now.

Overall, she did work very hard on the meal plan.  I had to replace the morning eggs with Raw Meal and some flax or chia.  It was lacking my omegas.  I added it there and stuck to the majority of the plan.

I lost about 10lbs from the day I started.  However, I feel like I may have gained that back now.  My waist is definitely no longer as skinny.  Bummer.

I want to get myself back on track though.  I plan to incorporate some of her meal plan back into my diet (minus the eggs).  I also want to get myself back on track with the gym.  I find that when I make my workout plan in advanced, I am more focused on my goal.

At any rate, I wanted to touch base with my current status.  I will be back on track shortly.  I need to make a plan and I will be ready to lift heavy things again.

Have you fallen off your diet and workout plan? If so, how did you get yourself back on path?  I sure could use some motivation!
