Elliptical HIIT: 20 Minutes

Elliptical - HIIT - 20 minutes

Next week, I am going to start doing HIIT sessions before my weight training. One of the planned HIIT sessions that I will be doing is with the elliptical. This is a great way to really burn calories in minimal time.

Often times, elliptical machines have arms that allow one to adjust the resistance level. However, it does not always allow changing the incline of the machine. If on an elliptical with arms, make sure to keep hands below the shoulder height. In addition, stay focused on pushing more with the legs and core rather than the arms.

An elliptical without moving arms, lets the resistance and incline to be adjusted. Try letting go of the machine and pump the arms like a runner. This will increase the heart rate even more. As always, keep the abs and core tight!
